Custom Countertops

The countertop is the first thing people see. Make it the right choice.

Measured to fit your kitchen. Installed to last.

The countertop is the centerpiece of every kitchen. It’s what you touch when you cook, what guests look at when they walk in, and what buyers notice before they look at anything else.

We supply and install custom countertops in Burlington and the surrounding area — granite, quartz, butcher block, laminate, and more. We measure your kitchen, have the countertop fabricated to fit, and install it correctly.

No big box store. No measuring guesses. A countertop that fits your kitchen.

Choosing the right countertop for your kitchen

**Granite**

Natural stone. Every slab is unique. Granite is hard, heat-resistant, and durable — it handles a working kitchen well when it’s properly sealed. The variation in natural stone means your countertop won’t look like anyone else’s.

**Quartz**

Engineered stone. Consistent color and pattern, non-porous, and requires no sealing. Quartz is among the most practical countertop materials for a kitchen that gets daily use. A wide range of styles, including options that closely resemble natural stone.

**Butcher Block**

Warm, functional, and well-suited to Vermont kitchens. Butcher block requires more maintenance than stone — oil it, keep it dry — but many homeowners prefer the look and feel. It also works well as an island surface alongside stone perimeter counters.

**Laminate**

More durable and better-looking than its reputation. Modern laminate has come a long way. For homeowners working within a budget, a well-chosen laminate countertop can look sharp and last years.

**Other Options**

Soapstone, concrete, solid surface. We’ll talk through what fits your kitchen and your priorities.

It’s not just about looks.

Every countertop material involves tradeoffs. Granite is beautiful and durable but requires sealing. Quartz is maintenance-free but engineered. Butcher block has warmth and character but needs care. Laminate is affordable but not heat-resistant.

We’ll ask how you use your kitchen. Whether you cook heavily, whether you have young kids, what your maintenance tolerance is, and what your budget is. Then we’ll tell you which materials make sense and which don’t.

You make the final call. We make sure you have the right information to make it.

What to expect

**Measurement**

We measure your kitchen precisely. Countertops that don’t fit correctly — gaps at the wall, seams that don’t align — are the result of bad templates. We template on site.

**Fabrication**

Your countertop is cut to your template by our fabricator. Cutouts for your sink and cooktop are made to spec.

**Installation**

We set and secure the countertop, seal the edges and any seams, and make sure everything is level and tight. The sink and faucet go back in, the cooktop drops in, and the kitchen goes back into service.

**Cleanup**

Stone cutting creates dust. We contain it and clean up completely before we leave.

Part of a bigger renovation?

Countertops are frequently part of a larger kitchen project — a full renovation or a cosmetic refresh. When they’re included in a larger scope, we sequence them correctly so the countertop goes in after cabinets are hung and before the backsplash. Everything works together.

If countertops are a standalone project, we handle them the same way — with the same attention to measurement and installation.
